Englewood Community Hospital will be hosting a Lunch & Learn about "Early Heart Attack Care & Prevention" with Dr. Eric Pressman, Cardiologist, on Wednesday, February 24th with registration and lunch served at 11:30 am and presentation at 12:00 noon.
The program will be held in the Suncoast Auditorium. Dr. Pressman will be covering helpful information about early heart attack care including: risk factors, signs and symptoms of heart attacks, and the differences between women and men. The presentation will be followed by blood pressure screenings and Hands-Only CPR demonstrations.
According to the American Heart Association, more than 326,000 people in the US, suffer from out-of-hospital cardiac arrests each year. At Englewood Community Hospital, we are strive to educate our community on the Hands-Only CPR technique, which could ultimately save more lives.
