Englewood, FL – Englewood Community Hospital celebrated the expansion of their cardiac services, Wednesday, September 30th at the Cath Lab and Angiography Suite. The medical staff and employees enjoyed refreshments and a ribbon cutting to honor the hard work and dedication that was implemented to launch their Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) Program.
This new service line is an exciting time for the Englewood community; for patients experiencing a heart attack, Englewood Community Hospital, an accredited Chest Pain Center by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care, is specially prepared to open the blocked artery with the goal of restoring blood flow to the heart muscle within 90 minutes of the patient’s arrival to the hospital.

Our PCI team is available 24/7 and 365 days a year – regardless of the time or day, our team is equipped and ready.
