In order to provide easy and reliable billing services, you may inquire about your hospital bill, or pay your bill online.
Your Hospital Bill
Your hospital bill pays for the many skilled people serving you 24 hours a day including, medications and supplies, and advanced equipment needed for your healthcare, along with the highly trained, licensed professionals required to provide that care. Your room, carefully planned meals, treatments, and many more support services are also a part of that care.
You may receive services from such hospital-based physicians as Radiologists (for x-ray), Anesthesiologists (for most surgical procedures), Pathologists (for certain lab tests), and / or Emergency Room Doctors (if you were admitted through our Emergency Department).
Please be aware that these hospital-based physicians will each bill you separately for their respective services. Frequently, it is the policy of these specialists to discuss financial arrangements with you before services are provided, and to bill the insurance company first, before invoicing you for any applicable out of pocket balance.
Prior to services being provided, you will be asked for your insurance information and how you plan to pay for any out-of-pocket (deductible and / or co-pay) portion of your bill. Please know that as a courtesy to our patients, we file claims directly with insurance carriers. We work with those carriers very closely, to determine both the patient's coverage and applicable out-of-pocket costs. Accordingly, we request that patients pay their out-of-pocket costs at the time of discharge (when services are provided). To minimize the chance of unexpected concerns, we strongly encourage patients to be familiar with both the coverage and the limitations of their health care insurance policies. A statement will be sent to you 10-12 days after discharge (or use of outpatient services).
Any questions or issues regarding payment or your bill may be discussed directly with our Business Office. They may be reached at (800) 247-9122.
